DJ turned 6 months old on Friday 6/16 and it seems like everytime we blink an eye he is doing something new. He grabs for everything that we have now, especially the TV remote and the telephone.
We got the official moving up notice saying that as of Tuesday 6/20 DJ will be moving out of the infant room at his daycare and into the 1st toddler room. He is with his teacher Ms. Susan below who has taken care of him since he was 8 weeks old. DJ has adjusted well to daycare and always seems happy when we drop him off and pick him up. He loves to play with the other kids there and is learning a lot from watching them. He has even learned how to take toys away from the other kids :(
DJ has also "graduated" to the next car seat. We got him a big boy seat this weekend as he is almost too snug in his infant seat. Doesn't he look comfy?
DJ also "graduated" to the next level at Gymboree, he is now going to the Level 2 class which is for 6-10 month olds. He loves his time at Gymboree, we go once a week. Daddy saw how much he loved the balls and Gymbo the clown that he plays with during class and bought him his very own for playing with at home.
It kills Sophie to have balls in the house that she isn't allowed to play with, she keeps a close eye on them.
This outfit was given to DJ by Daryl's coworker is was too cute not to take a picture of it.
She got it at Disneyland and it says Lil Pirate on the front.
DJ gets up on his hands and knees and rocks back and forth whenever he has the chance.
He is also able to balance himself for a few seconds after being helped up.
