DJ's 5th Birthday - Chuck E Cheese

We celebrated DJ's 5th birthday on 12/10 with his friends at Chuck E Cheese. This was a bid deal for him beacause it is the first year that he has had a party with his friends in CA. He had a blast; played for 3 hours straight, ate lots of pizza and played lots of games.

Who said Christmas babies miss out? This was DJ's second party (the first was the Saturday after Thanksgiving at Gma Pat and Papa Dennis' house) and we haven't even gotten to MD yet! Lucky!

He loved his cake but didn't even eat a bite

Soccer - Go Cheetahs!

DJ started playing indoor soccer at the YMCA at the end of June. We were reluctant to sign him up because of the every Saturday commitment but so glad we did, he loves every minute of it. Every morning he asks, "Mommy, do I have soccer today?" He is a scoring machine!

Pre School Graduation 6/18/10

Although DJ is staying in his Pre School class for another year becuase of his December birthday he participated in the graduation cermony with his classmates.

He has learned so much at St. Timothy, especially this past year. DJ now knows that his given name is Daryl and can write it and likes practicing his numbers. He goes to the library at school every Wednesday and comes home with at least one dinosaur book every week. He also goes to computer lab and is getting very familiar with the computer.

Spring Program

I know it has been forever since I have updated this (Facebook has kept me busy), I will try to get back to updating this blog a couple of times a month.

A couple of week ago DJ had his spring program at school, Dinosaurs, Ducks and Bunnies...oh my! He did a great job singing and spoke very clearly into the microphone about his Ankylosuarus. Enjoy!
